Sealux Seals Specifications
Sealux Regular Profiles are Hi-Performance Shower Pan and Bath Seals. They are available in 3 different width profiles, allowing you to choose which width best suits your needs. Sealux Regular profiles are secured to the wall with Sealux-N silicone (or a high grab polymer adhesive). The Sealux Seal is is also adhered to the ledge of the pan /bath with Sealux-N ensuring a watertight seal. As part of the patented design is the incorporation of an applied silicone sealant bond breaker tape that permits for joint movement between walls and the floor i.e. shower pan or bath. They are our best selling seal where a gap between wall and bath/shower pan has to be spanned, joint movement is common and a watertight seal is crucial.

A Sealux Seal is a rigid PVC strip that includes Sealux-N Silicone. The Sealux Seal works with Sealux-N Silicone to create a watertight seal between the ledge of the shower pan / bath and the wall/tiles. The Sealux Seal has a patented bond breaker tape applied to the inside face, this allows the Sealux-N Silicone to only adhere to a specified surface of the seal, because of this feature the Sealux-N Silicone is capable of stretching which is needed when there is joint movement.
Our Sealux Seals are available in three different widths: 9/16″, 13/16″ and 1″ (15mm, 20mm and 25mm)
Hence we offer Sealux REG 15, Sealux REG 20 and Sealux REG 25
The ‘REG’ range can be installed either behind tiles (bonded to wall with Sealux-N Silicone) or it can be installed over tile (bonded to tiles with Sealux-N Silicone) Both methods are equally effective in sealing the bath or shower pan.
Sealux REG15 profiles are suitable to seal the joint where the measurement of the gap between the wall and the shower pan (or bath ) is not greater than 1/8” – 3/16” (4-5mm) and the thickness of the tile is not greater than 1/4” (7mm)

Sealux REG20 profiles are suitable to seal the joint where the measurement of the gap between the wall and the shower pan (or bath ) is not greater than 3/8″ (9mm) and the thickness of the tile is not greater than 1/2″ (12mm)
